Steps
Opening Circle (5 minutes)
Gather students in a seated circle.

Listening and Reflection (5–7 minutes)
Play a piece of classical music.
Ask students to close their eyes and notice how the music makes them feel.
Invite brief sharing: “What did you imagine or feel while listening?”
Creative Drawing (15–20 minutes)
Pass out crayons and paper.
Play another classical piece and encourage students to draw what they hear, feel, or imagine.
Remind them there’s no right or wrong—just their personal experience.
Sharing (5–10 minutes)
Invite volunteers to share their drawings and describe what they were thinking or feeling.
Celebrate each student’s unique interpretation.
Closure (3–5 minutes)
Reflect as a group on how the music helped them calm down, focus, or imagine.
Reinforce how listening to music can be a tool for self-control and emotional regulation.
